2001 Starts with Spring Travels

We have had a wonderful 2011 with lots of fun, activity and milestones.

The year started off with Will in New York city looking for work in his field of Chinese and International relations. Times being what they are he was happy and lucky to land a job working for OMD. This is a large advertising conglomerate. He handles Hersheys TV buys. He currently lives in Brooklyn and commutes to work.

Chris graduated in May from Colorado College with a degree in Bio Chemistry. After a national search he landed a position in his own backyard at Alexion Pharmaceutical in Rhode Island.

We started our year out west since we are officially on our way over the hill we thought we would go over the hill, literally. We started with a January trip to Vail Mountain and into the back bowls. Wonderful snow and some new friends.

First day in Vail Colorado we hiked Ptarmigan Ridge

Summer sailing in Newport

I am adding to this over the next day or so - be patient as there is lots more stuff to come.

It's hard to beat Newport in the summer for action on the water. There was just so much to see and do it was almost to much. Certainly you missed a lot of the action if you were land locked unless you were at Fort Adams on June 2nd. So we are there for a little windsurf session and what happens to reach right by but the Volvo Open 70 Puma fresh up from a shakedown cruise from Miami

Here we are in our dry suits

We raced in the Lots's Shields quite a bit this summer. Her is Sven and Brett with Nancy
